Might be time to re-think housing...the entire Gulf Coast is nothing more than a huge delta to begin with, and even Miami is discovering that building cement hi-rises on limestone and sand does not guarantee a dry future, no matter how permanent it looks.

I always say..not Louisiana or Mississippi! This storm is the last thing they need. Miami better wake up. Theyve concreted everything n Mother Nature will reclaim. Agg.. they wont listen.

My roof hasnt been fixed yet. The insurance adjuster isnt coming until Friday. I just cant take any more bad shit right now.

we evacuated to shreveport and came home to a rotten refrigerator but no real damage.

As many of us know, post hurricane brings a lot of stress for quite some time.
