Interesting site to view Texas redistricting plans. (Texas Legislative Council)

https://tlc.texas.gov/redistricting#materials-section

The interactive maps allow for the viewer to click and view demographic data including the incumbent.

So far maps have not been released for Congress or the Texas House. Maps for the original bills and amendments are included at the site for the state Senate and State Board of Education.

I like the district viewer, because you can get down to the precinct level LeftInTX Sep 2021 #2

At the time Li was a patent attorney with Baker Botts. The Brennan Center hired Li and the site went dormant. Li and the Brennan Center always have good stuff on redistricting

The Senate just throw up a bunch of plans.

Look what they did to SD 19 in Senate plan 2108. They Lloyd Doggetted it!
It's suddenly going up I 35....

You can also get all the demographics by clicking the district within the district viewer.

You can also overlay plans..

Someone who used to work at the Capitol told me about the district viewer.

I can't believe Roland Gutierrez D - SD 19, wants to add a Lloyd Doggett touch to his sprawling district. Heck I can see the courts not liking it. He's gonna give up Maverick County, so he can have fun running up and down I 35 from SA to Austin. Unreal!
