and I still don't see the "purple" dems keep talking about. There are folks moving in from out of state but I suspect there are more rethugs moving in than dems. We will see.

the failing electrical grid. I expect a large portion of Texas to freeze unnecessarily again this winter.

9. Most of Texas is getting their first freeze tonight

so winter is a bit late. It will take another long duration event where the temperatures are below freezing in order to test the electrical grid. Meanwhile, I'm still wheeling myself around the apartment turning off all the lights and devices that my brother leaves running thoughtlessly.
