A year after the U.S. Capitol was stormed by protestors, a Kerrville resident pleaded guilty in connection to the Washington, D.C. riot.
On Thursday, February 3, Kerrville resident Elizabeth Rose Williams, 32, pleaded guilty to a class B misdemeanor for her involvement in the Capitol riots.
Williams admitted to parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a capitol building, according to the plea deal agreement.
She faces as much as six months in jail or up to five years probation and a $5,000 fine.

(112,369 posts)Perhaps the judge will give her a second chance? If she doesn't get jail time, then some substantial community service and fines might teach her a lesson.
