Texas State University in San Marcos will hold first 2024 presidential debate

SAN MARCOS, Texas — Texas State University in San Marcos will host the first in a series of four scheduled presidential election debates next year on Sept. 16, 2024, Texas State officials announced Monday.

The university will become the first location in Texas to host a presidential debate, according to school officials.

Although he received his degree from Southwestern and is on the Board of Trustees, there are plenty of alums that are upset that the general population didn't know the difference between Southwest Texas State University and Southwestern University. One is a party school and the other isn't. The closest anybody comes to streaking at Southwestern is at the beginning of the Sig Road Rally when the passengers moon the Pike house while leaving the campus.

Oh, you were referring to the first debate...
