Dallas police detective serving suspension over incident for wearing an offensive T-shirt

A Dallas police detective is serving a 10-day suspension over an incident last year when he received a ticket for wearing a T-shirt which depicted a picture of a penis on it at Dallas Cowboys stadium.

Edmundo Lujan, 17-year-veteran, has also been transferred from his job in the crimes against children unit to the financial investigations unit.

According to records obtained by The Dallas Morning News, Lujan and his friends were tailgating last December on the day that the Cowboys were playing the Pittsburgh Steelers. At the time, Lujan was wearing a blue sweatshirt over the white shirt with the offensive picture on it.

According to an Arlington police records, a plainclothes officer saw Lujan repeatedly lift his sweatshirt to expose the shirt to fans passing by him. The report said the undercover officer saw one of two young boys laughing and pointing at Lujan.
