Equality VA: LGBTQ protections in the crosshairs as early as Thurs (tomorrow) in the House

From Leadership in the Virginia House of Delegates is quietly trying to kill five pro-LGBT bills on Thursday—and they’re hoping you won’t notice.

We just learned that Speaker Kirk Cox has assigned five bills protecting LGBT Virginians to a House subcommittee where he is certain they will be defeated as soon as Thursday afternoon. This includes SB 423 and SB 202—which just passed in the Senate last week with bipartisan support—that would protect LGBT people in public employment and housing.

Rush a message now telling Speaker Cox and Chairman Chris Peace: Don’t kill these critical bills protecting LGBT Virginians!
