Voter suppression: Eleanor Munro of the MDC read an email message at the request of MDC Director Joan Burton. Ms Burton’s daughter received a phone call from the Washington State Democratic Voter Identification Committee (which does not exist) noting that because of printer errors she should not vote until she received a new ballot. She wanted to warn members of this effort to keep Democrats from voting.

1. When are these people going to be prosecuted?

Yet another case of voter suppression. This must violate federal law. People need to see jail time so this sort of behavior ends.

2. The first person with CALLER ID who gets one of these calls,

needs to call FBI Voter Intimidation Hotline: [phone] and
report that number to authorities, so they can trace it.

4. Thanks for the heads up, eridani. That was a bit clumsy of them to suggest waiting for a new ballot.

I and some friends just spent 3 hours today on our ballots and I was showing them things on DU, videos, articles, etc. We feel really good. Straight ticket and checked who was endorsing the different measures to check for Repigs. Then voted against that foul Grover Nordquist mouthpiece Tim Eyeman's 11185.

I hardly expected election fraud here in Washington. I suspect they are after the Governors Position and to turn the old Sixth District red. (The 6th is the one Norm Dicks held for ages, it was recently redrawn excluding much of the Tacoma Lakewood area.)
