You can explore Washington State Parks for free on September 28

Go on a hike, try paragliding, or set sail in a Washington State Park for free on Saturday, September 28.

You won't need a Discover Pass for state parks that day in honor of National Public Lands Day.

Grab friends and family and go explore the great outdoors that Washington has to offer. There are more than 100 state parks covering about 120,000 acres in the state that the public can enjoy filled with land, water, and air activities.

With nearly 700 miles of trails to hike including mountain biking trails, water trails, and equestrian trails, there are endless things to do
