Suspect in deadly Seattle Westlake rail station shooting arrested
SEATTLE – The man accused of shooting three people, one fatally, Friday night in a downtown Seattle light rail station has been arrested, the department said.
Police say a fight broke out on the street between two groups of people which transitioned inside the Westlake light-rail station near Third Avenue and Pine Street.
The suspect pulled out a gun and opened fire inside the tunnel around 9:20 p.m. Officers performed CPR on victims before Seattle Fire transported all three to Harborview Medical Center where 21-year-old Dawda Corr died.
The 20-year-old suspect was arrested by the Bellevue Police Department Monday around 2 p.m.
