Major Flooding Expected Along The Snoqualmie River
SNOQUALMIE, WA Heavy overnight rainfall over the central Cascades pushed several rivers above flood stage Tuesday morning. Major flooding is expected along the Snoqualmie River Basin, where waters are expected to crest near 60 feet in the afternoon.

NWS forecasters say flooding is likely in Fall City, Carnation and Duvall, with swift waters pouring through farms, neighborhoods and roads. Snoqualmie Falls could see one of its top ten flows of all time. Several roads had already closed in Snoqualmie by Tuesday morning.

Elsewhere, moderate flooding is expected along the Tolt and Skykomish rivers; the Snohomish River projected to hit flood stage Tuesday afternoon. A flood warning for the Stillaguamish River at Arlington has been upgraded to moderate severity. According to NWS, river levels should begin falling below the flood stage by Wednesday morning.
