Inslee to name new state Supreme Court Justice
Gov. Jay Inslee will name a new state Supreme Court Justice on Monday. The appointee will replace Justice Charles Wiggins, who retired last month after nine years on the Washington State Supreme Court.
The appointee joins Chief Justice Debra L. Stephens, Associate Chief Justice Charles W. Johnson and justices Barbara Madsen, Susan Owens, Steven C. González, Sheryl Gordon McCloud, Mary I. Yu and Raquel Montoya-Lewis on the bench.
Inslee will announce the appointment at 2:30 p.m. Monday. KING 5 will air the briefing live.
