King County Metro to restore 23 bus routes canceled due to COVID-19, add more trips to other routes
Starting on June 22, King County Metro will restore 23 bus routes that were canceled in March and April due to the COVID-19 pandemic, low ridership and financial constraints, and will also begin to add more trips to other routes.
The restored routes include the 21 Express, 74, 102, 111, 118, 119, 125, 208, 212, 217, 218, 221, 224, 226, 257, 301, 304, 311, 330, 773, 775, 907, 930.
As a result, Metro will now operate 11,000 weekday bus trips as well as 8,200 trips on Saturdays and 7,000 trips on Sundays.
Water taxi routes to Vashon and West Seattle will also be restored. Vashon will have three round trip sailings during the commute period, and West will have six round trip sailings during the commute period. A full list of departure times for the water taxi can be found [link:http://|here].
