Most Seattleites would agree that the Emerald City is a pretty pet-friendly place, at least to dogs. Walk down any street and you're likely to see the faces of the city's most popular breeds: loyal Labrador retrievers, teeny-tiny chihuahuas and the ever-loveable pug.
With plenty of dog-friendly restaurants, a handful of cat cafes, off-leash parks and even workplaces that allow Fido in the office, Seattle is truly gone to the dogs ... and cats, of course.
And new analysis from Wallethub confirms our affection for our four-legged friends, as Seattle was named the 5th most pet-friendly city in the entire country.
Which has us wondering, who could have possibly beat us?

(and I don't mean just the Hemingway 6-toed cats, either)
The critters out there have some sort of weird social contract to be mellow and not harm one another - the cats, the dogs, the geckos, the chickens, etc.
But if there's one place that's the world's No. 1 cat city, it has to be Istanbul, Turkey.
The videos of this Turkish cat lady and the various pusses that she befriends are what help me maintain my sanity these days.
