After Record Breaking Heat, A Gradual Cooldown In Washington

SEATTLE, WA — At 98 degrees, Seattle achieved its hottest day in more than a decade Sunday, coming within 5 degrees of its warmest temperature on record. For those seeking a reprieve from the heat: a gradual cooldown begins Monday.

Western Washington posted record-breaking temperatures up and down Puget Sound, with Sunday landing in the record books in Olympia, Seattle and Bellingham.

80's. I so hear you. I have air and I hate using it. I have to be dying. Used it for a couple three hours the last two days, first time ever. I hate the heat, hate it hate it. I was saying this on my walk with dog just now, to every person I saw.

Hi.... I hate the heat, lol. The only thing I truly whine about.

It is immobilizing. I spent the day sitting in the shade but did not accomplish much until a nice breeze came up.

now that summer was here. NO ONE went outside, all stuck in house, windows closed air on. I was outside less in hotter climates than I was in the winter.
