Seattle is one of the top cities for electric car ownership
Electric vehicles don't make up much of the market, but in cities like Seattle, Portland and San Francisco, they're starting to make bigger dents than elsewhere.
According to a new study from car search engine iSeeCars, Seattle is the city with the second-highest percentage of electric vehicles that make up the cars driving around the streets.
The study analyzed vehicle sales in major metro areas to determine those with the highest percentages. It also looked at over 54,000 used electric vehicle sales from 2019 to 2020 to determine which sold the best in each city - in Seattle and abroad, one brand blew Tesla out of the water.
