Early winter weather: cold temperatures, mountain snow on the way

It's probably a good time to pull out that space heater and dig out last year's gloves and beanie as the first cold snap of the season is expected later this week and into the weekend.

Colder temperatures are expected to arrive in Washington starting on Friday as a strong weather system from up north moves through the area.

The National Weather Service (NWS) is currently predicting that temperatures in Seattle will reach highs in the low 50s on Thursday and begin to drop throughout the end of the week.

Friday sees lows of 42 degrees in the Seattle area, while areas to the east including Snoqualmie and Stevens Pass will see lows in the high 20s. The chill is expected to last through the weekend, and the Seattle-area is expected to see morning lows of 34 degrees on Sunday.

..and crammed them into a small bathroom shower and hung a huge LED grow light (that someone sent to me for free..i dont know who and i dont know why..but thank you). Some of the girls are as tall as the shower and just now in flower!

....rolled up the hoses, turned off the faucets and wrapped a roll of bubble wrap around some of the plants in large tubs. Hanging plants are on the covered deck up next to the house.

I told hubby that Winter is Here now! This isnt going to be the coldest day of the winter but its the first day and will just get colder.
