2 arrested at Olympia's Capitol Campus for disobeying police
OLYMPIA, Wash. -- Two people have been arrested so far on the state's Capitol Campus in Olympia as the state Legislature readies to gavel in its 2021 session.
One arrest came early Monday morning when a woman driving an RV blocked a road and refused police's orders to move it.
"This situation created a security concern and was dealt with appropriately," Washington State Patrol officials said.
Then just after 11 a.m., a man who allegedly attempted to enter the restricted area around the Capitol was arrested for failing to comply with the trooper's orders.
