Large scale COVID-19 vaccination clinic to open in Bellingham in March
BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The Whatcom County Health Department announced on Thursday that it is opening a large-scale community COVID-19 vaccination clinic in March.
The clinic, which is in collaboration with local healthcare providers, will be located at Bellingham Technical College.
Health officials say the clinic has the capacity to vaccinate 5,000 people a day. The numbers will depend on how many doses they are able to get from the state.
On Thursday, the Washington State Department of Health announced that more than 90% of the state’s COVID-19 doses are delayed because of winter weather in other parts of the country.
