Bank of America to give Seattle-area employees paid time off for vaccinations

Bank of America recently announced it is giving employees two half-days of paid time off when they are eligible to get vaccinated.

The Covid-19 vaccination rollout process has been challenging for many people to understand, according to Kerri Schroeder, the bank's Seattle market president.

“We’re removing every obstacle that we can,” she said. “Even though cases are falling, we see vaccinations as an important step in the return to normalcy.”

By offering two half-days off, BofA aims to accommodate two-dose vaccines. To make the vaccination process as smooth as possible, the bank has also posted a toolkit on its intranet to give employees state-by-state information on the rollout.
