Washington expands vaccine eligibility to children ages 5-11

Kid vaccinations have officially started in Washington State.

The Western States Work group gave the green light and today, a number of Puget Sound kids under of the age of 11 were among the first to get the Pfizer pediatric vaccine dose.

There’s an ongoing COVID-19 vaccination clinic at Shoreline Community College. On this Wednesday, University of Washington held a special media event.

University of Washington started giving the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine this afternoon to kids between the ages of 5 and 11. Several of the children were staff of University of Washington staff and doctors.
