Efforts underway to get fresh drinking water to Clallam Bay following landslide

After very severe flooding in multiple areas in the North Sound, recovery efforts are underway to get things back to normal.

There are efforts underway to supply water to the west end of Clallam Bay on the Olympic Peninsula.

A large landslide between Clallam Bay and Sekiu has blocked all traffic west of Clallam Bay, cutting off a community.

The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office said they’re working to get more bottles of drinking water to the community.
