Moses Lake nurse pleads guilty of replacing morphine with saline

A Moses Lake nurse pleaded guilty to tampering with morphine medication and replacing the stolen morphine with saline.

According to court documents, between August 2019 and April 2020, Esther Rae Tuller, 40, worked as a Washington-licensed registered nurse employed at the Confluence Health Clinic in Moses Lake.

Tuller used syringes to remove morphine from at least 17 vials and ingested the morphine as part of her own opioid addiction.

Tuller then replaced the morphine with a saline solution and attempted to glue the caps back on the vials to make them appear intact.

Found her passed out in the MD's lounge. She was replacing patients fentanyl with saline during surgery.
The recovery room nurses could not figure out why patients were coming out of sedation in extreme pain. THIS is fucked up...
She basically got her hand slapped, 28 day treatment center and "observed" by the chief MD. This nurse in the article is gonna get fired or sent to jail.
MD's are on a different track.. uff
