National Weather Service issues Air Stagnation Advisory, possibility of poor air quality
The National Weather Service has issued an Air Stagnation Advisory for all of Western Washington.
The advisory is in effect from 4 p.m. Sunday to noon on Wednesday.
The weather service says a period of stagnant air is expected to develop this week which could result in deteriorating air quality. Poor air quality can cause issues for people with respiratory problems.
State air quality agencies ask that you delay outdoor burning until conditions improve and that residential wood burning use is limited.
