'Not a drill:' Everett Community College, Skagit Valley College on lockdown after threats
The Everett Community College main campus and Skagit Valley College in Mount Vernon were on lockdowns after each received threats on Monday morning. It is unclear if these two incidents are related.
Monday's lockdowns come after Bellevue College closed Friday morning due to a threat.
Skagit Valley College tweeted at 9:03 a.m., "ATTENTION! SVC has issued a LOCKDOWN order for all campuses and centers due to a threat. If inside, remain there. If outside, exit campus immediately."
Atop the Everett Community College website reads, "This is not a drill. Lock doors. Close blinds and turn out lights. Seek shelter. Avoid being seen and heard. If you are off campus, do not come to campus."
