First lady Dr. Jill Biden will visit Washington this weekend
SEATTLE — First lady Dr. Jill Biden will visit western Washington this weekend.
If your plans include driving, her visit and other construction projects could cause delays on the roads.
The first lady is visiting Bates Technical College in Tacoma on Friday. Historically, when a secret service motorcade has rolled through the Puget Sound region, there have been multiple freeway closures and backups.
On Saturday, Biden will attend a local finance event for Senator Patty Murray at the Pacific Science Center. Expect to take detours through downtown Seattle and Seattle Center.
