TikTok job postings show growing presence in Seattle area
Bellevue's largest tech employers are slowly opening more roles in the city after hiring freezes and layoffs earlier this year, but TikTok looks to be outpacing them all.
The social media giant has 642 job postings in the Seattle area, up from the 380 it had at the end of last year when it was reportedly recruiting recently laid off tech workers.
TikTok's workforce in the area has also increased since then, from 430 to 650, according to LinkedIn profiles. The company has several floors subleased from SAP Concur in Bellevue's Key Center and has not disclosed any additional office space in the region.
TikTok's job postings dwarf the numbers advertised by some of Bellevue's largest tech employers like Meta, Amazon and Microsoft. Meta has 117 job postings in Bellevue and Amazon has 305 posted in the city. Microsoft has two job postings as it uproots its presence in Bellevue.
