Cold weather shelters open throughout Snohomish County
EVERETT — Cold weather shelters will open this week in Snohomish County, with temperatures expected to dip into the high 20s.
The Monroe shelter was set to open at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Monroe United Methodist Church, 342 S. Lewis St.
On Oct. 25, in response to the lower temperatures at the time, the Marysville shelter opened earlier than usual, shelter coordinator Nathan Ray said. It’s at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church on 7215 51st Ave. NE.
