yeah, there's a lot of mouthbreathers in the part of the state where I just bought a house (SW WA; last month the state senator was arrested at Hong Kong International Airport for carrying a handgun 
). Looking forward to canceling one of their votes on this!
And, the state senator who said the oil companies raised their prices in retaliation has it right. Long and sordid history of retaliation on their part against any hint of progress.
