Rivian plans retail hub at Bellevue Square, permits show
Electric truck maker Rivian (Nasdaq: RIVN) plans to open a showroom at Bellevue Square, permits with the city of Bellevue show.
The Amazon-backed company — which makes electric vans, trucks and SUVs — launched its retail format, Rivian Spaces, in 2021, including a pop-up at University Village in Seattle. Now, it appears that the EV brand is eyeing a long-term space at 1001 Bellevue Square.
"Our location within Bellevue Square will act as a retail hub for our electric vehicles," the permit says. "Our goal is centered around brand awareness, education, and engagement."
Representatives for both Rivian and the Bellevue Collection declined to comment.
