11 students injured after car crashes into school bus in Pierce County

Eleven students were injured in a school bus crash in unincorporated Pierce County Friday morning.

Thirty-two Franklin-Pierce School District students were aboard the school bus when a sedan crashed into it at the intersection of 128th Street E. and Waller Road in Pierce County at 10:30 a.m. Friday.

Ten kids, reportedly from Collins Elementary, were taken to the hospital. One injury may have been serious, as of this reporting, while the rest suffered minor injuries. The students who were not injured will be released to their parents after an evaluation.

The students ranged from Kindergarten through fifth grade.
