Two students shot near Graham-Kapowsin High School
Two students were wounded in a shooting near Graham-Kapowsin High School in Graham on Tuesday afternoon.
Deputies indicate the shooting occurred about 40 yards off school grounds and the victims ran back to the high school after being shot. One student ran back to the football field parking lot and another ran to the locker room bathroom.
Both male students were transported to Tacoma General Hospital. KIRO 7 reports that they are in critical condition.
By 4:45 p.m., police began releasing students from their schools in lockdown.
