Missing Autistic Seattle Man May Be Near Carkeek Park

SEATTLE, WA — Local police are looking for a 24-year-old autistic man who was reported missing early Thursday morning. He may be in the area of Carkeek Park in northwest Seattle, according to police.

The King County Sheriff's Office said Thursday morning that search-and-rescue dogs tracked Dennis Williams nine miles into the park, but that's where the trail went cold. Police say he likes to be near beaches and trains.

Williams is 5'8", 200 pounds, and was last wearing a green sweatshirt that says, "I am autistic."

If you see Williams, call 911.
