72% in the City of Marshfield....

but why?

why Walker?

Why a Republican sweep in candidates and an OVERWHELMING support for Badgercare and Minimum Wage?

2. I just do not understand that at all......

and there are NO balances.....a clear path to the guttering of the once proud State of Wisconsin. I cry for my birth state....so glad I'm across the Mississippi River from that terrible place, and living in the state of Al Franken and Mark Dayton.

Milwaukee netted 19.5k fewer votes for Burke than for Barrett in the recall, but Walker gained 11k there. My County - Waukesha netted 4k fewer for Burke, but 7k fewer for Walker with about 67% turnout - down from 71% for recall.

husband is getting a little tired of me repeating my disgust at the whole thing. I don't have anyone physically to talk to, get my sympathetic grieving from fellow DU's or e-mail friends....

8. I wasn't really expecting a win this time. I was hopeful but pragmatic.

The recall cut me deeply. I really really like Tom Barrett. He's a very good and decent man. He lacks some vision, but that can be adjusted with good support.

This election was tough because of the nationwide implications. Also - HOW THE MOTHERFUCKING FUCK CAN ANYONE VOTE FOR GROTHMAN, FOR FUCK'S SAKE?

Sorry for the caps and language, but, WHAT THE FUCK??!?!?!?!?

11. What's wrong with the Democrats in this state
Thu Nov 6, 2014, 11:22 AM

is the same as what's wrong with the Democrats in the rest of the country. The leadership has betrayed the rank & file. Face it--How exciting was Doyle? What great advances did he bring in, beyond cancellations of raises for state workers? How 'bout Tony Earl? All he got us was a prison that the state had no use for (back in those innocent pre-"Incarecrate Everyone" days), and that Tommy ended up selling to the Feds. Pat Lucey( the slum landlord who kept us entertained with all those domestic violence calls to the Governor's Mansion)? We haven't had a visionary Democratic governor in this state since Gaylord Nelson.

12. Yeah, you have a point. We have a decent pool of talent in the Assembly, I think.

I know a lot of people really wanted Feingold to run. Personally, I am awaiting his appointment to SCOTUS where I think he will do a lot more good.

But we NEED new state party leadership. NOW

Actually, we needed it after the failed recall.

9. We needed it BEFORE the recall, actually.

All these visionless hacks--Wineke, Tate--where the Hell do they find them? I can name half a dozen county chairpeople who would do a better job, including some who post here (Sybylla, I'm looking at you & Madashell).
