This past weekend, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, a conservative darling and potential Republican nominee for president, waded into deeply troubling waters when he refused to state whether or not he believed President Obama is a Christian.

“I don’t know,” Walker said in an interview at the JW Marriott hotel in Washington, where he was attending the winter meeting of the National Governors Association.

Told that Obama has frequently spoken publicly about his Christian faith, Walker maintained that he was not aware of the president’s religion.

“I’ve actually never talked about it or I haven’t read about that,” Walker said, his voice calm and firm. “I’ve never asked him that,” he added.

Use some reverse logic for a moment: If the President of the United States is not a Christian, what is he?

And another new article out today.

I rather agree--Walker will probably get away with his vile comments! --or nonsensical comments I should say.

Scott Walker can probably get away with pandering to ‘Obama hates America’ crowd

....Then a pair of Post reporters asked Walker about Obama’s religious affiliation, another topic of insane fantasies of otherness among the Republican base, and Walker responded that he doesn’t know what religion Obama is. Given all the attention that’s been paid to the question of Obama’s religion, including the 2008 controversy over his pastor, it’s simply impossible to believe that Walker isn’t quite sure whether Obama is a Christian; the only logical purpose of professing ignorance is as a signal to the unhinged in his party that he too may suspect that Obama is a secret Muslim........

Guy's,this is all part of the 2016 Rethug Campaign strategy. It worked in 2012 and you know damn well it is working again. Frank Luntz and his Focus Groups have lists of buzz attack phrases that are e-mailed daily to various Media Groups and every damn Pundit in the country.
