Like clean water? Tell the DNR

The DNR is holding public hearings on July 22 in Eau Claire, Green Bay, and Madison on a revised permanent rule relating to safe drinking water and the Revised Total Coliform Rule. (Most likely not to make water safer and coliform levels lower, not in Scott Walker's Wisconsin!) This very likely relates to the planned CAFO pig farm near Lake Superior.

The biggest concerns of opponents: Odors and the threat of water pollution from the 6.8 million gallons of liquid manure that will be spread annually on more than 800 acres in the White River and Fish Creek watersheds, which flow into Lake Superior. Proposed hog megafarm
