Walker Loses Fox Focus Group After Weak Debate Appearance

By capper

?ts=1438924599
After the first GOP debate and three ring circus, Frank Lutz of Faux Newz talked to a focus group watching the debate.

Walker did not do very well with the group, outside of the first guy who somehow that Walker was clear on his domestic and foreign policy. Maybe it's because the man knows how to speak gibberish.

But after that, things got good (for us, not for Walker).

A woman named Erika took Walker to task on illegal immigration, calling him out on a lie about when he changed his mind regarding his position on the subject.............

I mean, if even people who daily slurp up the swill served by Faux Newz is catching on to Walker's lies and that he is nothing more than an empty suit, serving only as a puppet for the Kochs, then intelligent people will be seeing through it as well, only faster...................

Walker The Biggest Loser In First GOP Debate

By capper

8/07/15 10:51pm

Scott Walker lost a lot more than the Fox focus group after his weak showing at Thursday's GOP debate. The prediction markets show that although there was little change in the candidates' positions, Walker did set himself apart by being the biggest loser:

According to David Rothschild, who runs the prediction market aggregator PredictWise.com, the top three candidates remain Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio and Scott Walker. Long odds are available for all the other candidates. No contender saw his or her odds move by more than four percentage points. Movements this small are sometimes not even meaningful, as they reflect the ebb and flow of money for or against a particular candidate.
..................................

Walker knows he tanked on Thursday too.

On Friday, his campaign set out a whopping dozen press releases. Giving away his panic at his dropping numbers, his press releases including things like:

I've always been radically pro-life. No, really!
Don't blame me for flip flopping on immigration, blame the American people!.........................

When the next debate happens the candidates should go ballistic and really try to score an emotional impression. Except for Trump the rest were actually trying to appear moderate and presidential! Jeb will continue to lurk in the bushes so to speak with the money to wait out the bloodletting.

Just turn the sound off next time as an experiment. Spare yourselves at least part of the agony.

6. Embrace the hate

Aug 2015

Luntz and fix news are desperate to kill the D Trump wave of base hate. After spending the last 50 years nurturing that poisonous seed to flourish thereby cementing that block of votes for all time. Th idiots left their precious creation laying out in the yard [how many times did their dad tell them to pick up their toys] and along came the Donald who saw it just laying there. All that hate , glistening in the red hot southern sun. No one else was using it , at least no one was out in the open with it. Oh sure they assuaged it with their dog whistles and veiled conservatism wink wink but none would embrace the hate like the Donald.
And he wears it well. He the villain. He takes no prisoners. He is not afraid to use every ounce of the hate to destroy anything in his path. Hes ruthless. Hes mean he is the Frankenstein monster that the GOP has been building for some 50 years. The sneering wisecracking hood with 10 billion dollars to piss away on a wrecking ball tour to destroy the GOP from within.
Hes not in it to win it. Hes in it to wreck it.

8. We all need to worry about Scotty's buddy John Kasich

Faux News manipulated poll data to get Kasich into the big boy debate and send Rick Perry to the kids' table. From there, John focused on how how humane he is, what with allowing Medicaid expansion in Ohio and all. That got ooh's and aah's from all sorts of progressive types (even John Nichols fell for it) about how reasonable Kasich is.

I don't know who frightens me more--Walker or Kasich. Both are congenital liars, professed "Christians," and totally owned subsidiaries of the Koch Bros. We all need to pay careful attention to both of these FINE Midwestern governors who won re-election and fought the unions.
