Koch Brothers and Ro Jo

"...On July 20th, a Republican U.S. Senator lost his main financial backers for having urged Republicans to vote for Donald Trump instead of for Hillary Clinton..."

If that violates the new posting terms here, or the agreement I finally clicked on to allow me to put this up, so be it.

I have never heard of this source. Any idea of the validity?

but the writer's speculation and interpretation is probably open to discussion.

I'm inclined to agree with the basic premise and conclusion, though, or at least accept that it could be credible.

If this is true, whole State will flip and Paul Ryan is in deep trouble. Walker is toast and will be fitted for a orange jumpsuit.

"The Rove-led billionaires’ faction are also strongly inclined to prefer Hillary, but can’t afford to alienate the Republican electorate, and so they will continue to support other Republicans but not Trump. (Consequently, Ron Johnson, for example, still can get their money.) They aren’t as emphatic about their backing of Hillary as the Koch-led faction is. They won’t withdraw their financial support from Republicans (such as Johnson) who campaign for Trump. They aren’t really pro-Hillary; but the Koch-contingent now are."

In an ordinary election year, you'd think that would be good news, but I'm not really excited about being on the same side as Charles and David, when it comes to backing a presidential candidate.

Just the opposite.

So I still have my fingers crossed that when the Democratic convention is over this week, it won't end with the hopeless option, forcing us to choose between either of the two most reviled and despised politicians in the country, abstaining from voting, or going third party.

If that's "bashing the Dem candidate," so be it.

It just makes me wonder how much money D.U. has been paid to enforce such an absurdly defensive and negative, discussion-killing posting policy.

Never thought it would happen, but I"m expecting to have to delete my whole account from this place wihin hours, or days. Unless someone does it for me, first, and saves me the trouble.

'Bye midnight. I used to like hanging out here, and at least checking in from time to time to see what people are talking about, but there's no place for me here, any more.

Take care, all my best.

lost cause and they also will hedge their bets and play both sides if its looking like their guy wont get it. Pence is one of their guys, after all - theyd be quite happy with him as Trump's Mini-me and the defacto acting Prez. Trump isnt interested in actually governing, hes even said so.

Kochs made Pence just like they made Rojo and Scot W - dontcha think it was interesting that the entire WI bunch all obediently got in line and announced support for Trump literally the day after Pence was announced ... hmmm? Youd almost think someone told them to.

I dont know what posting terms you think youve violated - ? I dont think there's any rules against half-baked theories LOL.
