What's there to do on or before election day?

Not sure I want to make phone calls.... tried that a few times during recall and got nothing but people who had already received tons of calls and were getting annoyed. Is it like that again? Would enjoy talking to undecideds, if there are any out there.

Thinking of driving people to polls - has anyone out there done that and/or have a sense of where in the state there could be a need? Were you kept pretty busy throughout the day?

Looks like Madiosn (where I live) has a lot of options incl free Union cab, so I wouldnt mind going wherever!

Thanks all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Both for any input you might provide, AND for the work you yourself are doing!)

Here in Ohio, they have us canvassing daily starting Saturday. That is effective because you meet voters face to face and then can provide both sample ballots and info on polling locations. The HRC coordinated campaign is supporting down-ticket Dem races.

few were home or wanted to come to the door. I was slightly dismayed to again be going around to people who'd already been bothered once or twice before -and who even still had flyers in their door. Why cant we just go to every door and talk to everyone or anyone who wants to talk to us? That's what I dont understand. Why do we have to stick to the list and not reach out and try to get more people for our lists?

I didnt think to ask this of the organizers. I hope I dont sound like Im dissing what work is being done because Im really not. Just wondering "why not."
