Looking For Info: What Is The Going Rate For A Realtor Commish On A Sale Of Lake Property In N.Wisc?

I am considering selling a piece of lakefront property on a chain of lakes north of Eau Claire and am wondering what realtor's are charging for commission these days?

Also - are such properties selling up there?

Any info would be appreciated.

commissions are negotiable. they are not fixed by law at least in most states nt msongs Nov 2021 #5
Where I lived, in Tennessee, realtor commissions were 10% for undeveloped land. But negotiable. SharonAnn Nov 2021 #6
I believe the Supreme Court outlawed fixed commissions. 3Hotdogs Nov 2021 #7

Look up realtor commission rate in WI. It's regulated in my state and is the same all over, although sometimes individual realtors might take a little less to give the buyer a break on the price, say if the buyer has limited funds and they're cutting it close. I guess your state could be different, though. Better ask a realty in WI to find out for sure.

You can negotiate. But keep in mind, the service you get depends on what effort they offer in selling your house.

How many open houses will they provide? Where will they advertise... and so forth.
