.3 inches for the month.

We were over an inch below normal in May also.

If we don't see some rain very soon with these temps the farmers are going to significant hit.

Dry forests might keep the tick population down, but we could end up looking like Colorado if this continues.

It's the near surface water that's disappearing around my place. Here there are miles of old drainage ditches that make the muck soils between the drumlins tillable. The ditch that bounds the sw corner of my wetland is dry. It usually has at least a trickle of water through July.
