Late last week, attorneys finalized details for the Oct. 8 trial of Kevin Kavanaugh. He's charged with embezzling $42,000 from a vets' program while helping manage donations raised through an initiative of former Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker.

Later this year, trial begins for Timothy Russell. He's accused of stealing donations earmarked for military veterans and two political campaigns. The charges stem back to the days when Russell was an aide to then County Executive Walker.,,,
