He's from Superior (well, Maple, but only 3 others besides me know where that is), so he doesn't have the Madison/Milwaukee curse. He could pull in the northern counties that have been wavering lately, and his liberal credentials are solid enough to sweep the Mad City-Beertown axis.

much more carefully than the Sanford police handled George Zimmerman on the night of Trayvon Martin's murder. The police station film showed him following the officers into the building with no escort and no hands on him.

They are arresting 80 plus year olds. They had better treat them with care or there will be lawsuits. Putting cuffs on an 80 year old could result in joint or bone injuries, skin tears or falls.

They wouldn't let a woman, who had recently had hip surgery, use her crutch to walk. Just cuffed her and made her march along. I warned the cops that I just broke my collarbone, and that there would be hell to pay if they tried to cuff me behind my back. So far, they've left me alone.
