Walker open to limiting police, fire unions

http://www.todaystmj4.com/news/local/Walker-open-to-limiting-police-fire-unions-217595271.html

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Gov. Scott Walker says he is open to limiting collective bargaining for police and firefighter unions, just as was done to other public sectors unions two years ago.

Walker's comments made during a speech in Milwaukee on Monday drew swift and negative reactions on Tuesday.

Wisconsin Professional Police Association executive director Jim Palmer says Walker made a "serious misstep" and "disappointing that public safety now appears to be taking a back seat to partisan presidential politics."

Walker is frequently mentioned as a possible Republican candidate for president in 2016.

Did the police & firefighters believe it would never happen to them???

every dimes worth of ass f#cking they get. We see it everywhere. As long as they kept their good wages and benefits, it was good that others be cut back. It would keep their taxes lower and they could get more stuff.

See how they are arresting peaceful protestors. Who will be left to fight for them?

The loss of union rights would humble law enforcement though. They need to be humbled.
