Private hospital operator Healthscope collapses into receivership - ABC News (Australia)

Healthscope's lenders have appointed receivers, but the healthcare provider says its 37 hospitals will continue to operate normally.

The Commonwealth Bank has pledged an additional $100 million in funding, if necessary, to help maintain the operations of Healthscope's hospitals while potential buyers are sought.

Receivers from McGrathNicol will oversee the sale of Healthscope's hospitals to repay its lenders.

And never heard of Healthscope. They seem pretty specialized - orthopaedics. Maybe they are patronised by rich football players while the rest of us use the public syster.
