'Freedom Convoy' organizer Tamara Lich expected to have bail hearing today

Police transported her to Ottawa and she briefly appeared before a judge on Thursday before remaining in custody over the weekend

OTTAWA — Crown counsel is seeking to revoke the prior order that granted bail for Tamara Lich, an organizer of the “Freedom Convoy,” and says he will argue for her to be detained. ... Crown prosecutor Moiz Karimjee says in an Ottawa court today that Lich breached one of her bail conditions by being seen with fellow organizer Tom Marazzo at a gala where she accepted an award for organizing the convoy

Lich’s lawyer, Lawrence Greenspon, says he will contest the revocation of Lich’s bail and seek her release on conditions.

Lich was released in March with a long list of conditions, including an order not to communicate with key convoy organizers — including Marazzo — and a ban from all social media. ... She was arrested in Medicine Hat, Alta., where she lives, on a Canada-wide arrest warrant sought by the Ottawa police.

Police transported her to the capital and she briefly appeared before an Ottawa judge on Thursday before remaining in custody over the weekend.

I wish they would lock her away, and the fact she met him at a gala where she was accepting an award for organizing the convoy, should be enough to lock her up. She is not going to stop.
