David Johnson quits as Special Rapporteur on classified foreign

interference issue. Who would be his replacement after getting attacked by Poilievre for his findings that no public inquiry is needed when Poilievre refuses to get the security clearance to be able to review Johnston's finding even though he could have? Republican wannabes like leak-fake scandals that can't be solved because the right wing will not do actual investigations or follow the investigations by responsible parties. The Conservatives like unsolved scandals.

on the positive side, it takes away the cons favorite punching bag used to dirty Trudeau.

we aren't known as Texas North for nothing although I think we are edging closer to Florida North lately.

want to remind Conservatives in Alberta that when the glaciers in Banff disappear so does the glacial flour the glaciers ground up from rock, and thus the pretty pastel blue lakes. And then the tourists stop coming. I don't know the timeline but I think Albertans would want to protect Lake Louise.

gave her a party a majority so I don't think they really care as much as one would think. Danielle Smith is a climate change denier on top of everything else.

We are definitely a province with a solid urban/rural split. One good thing about the last election is that more Calgary ridings voted NDP than before and if a couple more had the results would have been reversed. Maybe 4 years from now things will change before they can do even more damage than they plan to do now.

so she is going to spend millions looking for the arsonists. She is more appalling each and every day.

I live in a riding that used to be conservative until the Alison Redford debacle and then they went NDP in 2019 and again this time.

on the positive side, Alberta's votes in federal elections don't change. The ridings, with the rare exception at times, go all con so PP won't gain any more from us that would bring him closer to beating Trudeau.

Johnston did the honourable thing by resigning, even though he did nothing wrong, because it takes that phony cudgel out of PP's hands.
