Winter wonders Here and abroad

Canada and other parts of the Northern Hemisphere have certainly gotten a fair share of winter weather in recent days.

Take a look at how some here and abroad are embracing or coping with the snow, ice and freezing temps.

was an article about the Canadian coast guard wanting lighthouse keepers. I bookmarked it as a backup; just in case November doesn't go the way I think it'll go. Might be a neat second career. I love the ocean, and I being isolated appeals to me!

I am obsessed with lighthouses, I absolutely love them and always wondered what it would be like to be a lighthouse keeper. I once took a road trip around the coast of Nova Scotia visiting as many lighthouses as I could including the very famous Peggy's Cove one. The trip will always be my most favorite Canadian adventure.
