Ryan Gosling, surrounded by a fleet of dancers and Slash on guitar, performed a hit song from the Barbie movie at the Oscars on Sunday night. But before he was the A-list actor belting out I'm Just Ken, he was a kid from Ontario whose singing and dancing helped him make it as a Mouseketeer. Hear what Gosling had to say about his hopes back in 1993.

3. I loved the Mouseketeers

TV was closely supervised in my house growing up, but Mickey Mouse Club was on the approved list. I loved that there was a Mouseketeer who shared my name. Good 50's memories. I didn't realize Gosling was one.
