Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said “Australian hearts go out to the families and friends of the victims.” Albanese's country is still reeling from the Bondi Beach attack last December, which killed 15 people and injured 39.

On his X account, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said "we are shocked" and that "such tragedies should never happen anywhere, in any country in the world."

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said "India stands in solidarity with the people of Canada in this moment of profound grief."

I know President Obama or President Biden would have been first to send their condolences as would any of the past Presidents.

There is an overwhelming sense of sadness here, we are grateful for many condolences being sent, they are all very much appreciated.

As for those of us who still have a sense of decency and empathy, Condolences.

I heard about it last night when I turned on the radio, BBC then CBC. I was shocked because it was in Canada.

Everyone knows everyone. I'm somewhat familiar with Canadian goings on as I live near the border and try to pay attention. This will take a while for healing, what healing that can take place for all involved.

they stand alone in their ignorance yet again. Canadians know that trump is not representing the feelings of most Americans who know full well how devastating something like this is.
